Meet Your Certified Arborist
Frederick (Jimmy) Goddard
Frederick is a Certified Arborist and Certified Utility Specialist with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), Frederick has worked in the residential and commercial tree care industry since 2006. Also, Frederick has a pesticide license with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.
He found his love for arboriculture in Ohio in 2006, when he joined one of the world’s largest tree care contractors. Frederick spent the next 7 years learning how to work safely (following ANSI Z133 standards) and efficiently. During those years, he took on tasks like tree identification, diagnosis, care, safe management, trimming, and removal.
In 2013, Frederick and his wife Melinda, along with their fur babies, relocated to Pennsylvania to be closer to family. Frederick joined another large and reputable tree care company that helped him enhance his skills and abilities to become a certified arborist. A very special distinction few in the tree care market possess. During his years with these corporate arbor care companies, Frederick traveled to Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, and New York to assist with national disasters. For example, during these trips, he assisted individuals affected by hurricanes, ice storms, and local storms.
In June of 2020, Frederick assumed the role of Operating Partner at Reliable Tree Service of Pennsylvania LLC. Reliable Tree Service of Pennsylvania LLC is a Blair County-based PA Tree Services company locally focused on safely serving business units of utility companies, federal, state, and local government entities, and private business owners and homeowners alike. Frederick is responsible for the safety of the staff, as well as for managing crews for quality and personel development, customer education and sales, and a growing fleet of state-of-the-art equipment to perform each job safely and efficiently to provide the best in safety, service, and value.
When Frederick is not working you can find him floating down a river with his best friend Melinda. As well as chilling with his fur baby Petee, getting outdoors to hunt, or trying to keep up with friends on his side by side. Also, you are likely to find him hyper-focusing on learning everything there is to know about whatever interests him.

Reliable Tree Service of Pennsylvania LLC is a Werstil Companies business unit. In other words, Reliable Tree Service of Pennsylvania LLC works hand in hand with our parent company Werstil Companies. This teamwork enables us to provide a variety of synergistic services. We serve homeowners, business owners, and industry, as well as clients with a variety of real estate services.
Gregory Werstil, company founder started Werstil Companies in April 2000. He did so while still completing his course of study in construction at Pennsylvania College of Technology. The last two decades at Werstil Companies have seen quiet steady growth and development of many opportunities. These include real estate, service businesses, manufacturing, hospitality, agriculture, and agri-tourism opportunities.
Greg Werstil resides in Hollidaysburg with his wife Janine and three sons, he is a serial entrepreneur that takes pleasure in overcoming challenges, building winning teams, and continuously networking to add value when and where possible. While the businesses are diverse the common elements consist of identifying select synergies, opportunity to create value, and companies improving quality of life and providing a benefit to the community.
